Paradise Adventures Outfitters started guiding whitetail deer hunts in 1995. Many of our clients have been returning year after year with some of them closing in on the 20 year mark. Our hunters have taken multiple deer over the years that have topped the magical 200” mark with a few deer every year that will stretch the tape and hit 170” + mark. We pride our selves in knowing the deer that are on our hunting properties through our year around scouting and trail camera use, But there is always that “bonus” buck that shows up we have never seen before or maybe only see once or twice a year.
Paradise has a 1 blood trail limit with the buy back in option available for a second blood trail. This policy helps us to continue to have the quality of deer on our properties year after year and offers the hunter the ability to continue his hunt because well, things just don’t always go as planned. There is a maximum limit of 2 blood trails per hunter.
All of our Whitetail hunts take place out of large comfortable ladder stands, hang on stands, elevated blinds or ground blinds. We place multiple stands on our properties to be able hunt in almost any wind direction. These stands are located in travel routes, near bedding areas, in staging locations and on food sources. We don’t make our hunters stay from daylight to dark unless they choose to (it is encouraged, cameras don’t lie) but if activity isn’t happening, wind changes, weather gets bad or you just need a break for lunch we will come get you. Our guides will give you their phone number and all the other phone numbers needed incase you need anything during your hunt.
The Kansas nonresident deer application process takes place in the month of April in the year you are planning to hunt. We will give you information to better help you with your chances of drawing when that time approaches. You can also purchase preference points during this time if planning a future hunt.
Whitetail Deer Hunts – Archery
Archery hunts are fully guided 6 day / 7 night hunts with meals and lodging included. Season opens mid September – December 31. Hunters will arrive the day before their hunt to get settled into camp, shoot their bows and go over the details for their upcoming hunt. Trail camera pictures, wind direction, aerial photos and stand locations will be discussed prior to your hunt. Extra days can be purchased and added to the beginning or end of your original hunt based on availability.
Whitetail Deer Hunts – Rifle
Rifle hunts are fully guided 6 day / 7 night hunts with meals and lodging included. Rifle season opens the Wednesday after Thanksgiving and runs for 12 days. Hunters will arrive Tuesday before the hunt to unpack and shoot their rifles on our 100 and 200 yard range. We will go over trail camera pictures, wind direction and tree stand location prior to your hunt. Extra days can be purchased and added to the beginning or end of your original hunt based on availability.
Whitetail Deer Hunts – Muzzle Loader
Muzzleloader hunts are fully guided 6 day / 7 night hunts with meals and lodging included. Muzzleloader season opens mid September – late September. Hunters will arrive the day before their hunt to unpack settle in and shoot their gun on our range. We will go over trail camera pictures, wind direction and tree stand location prior to your hunt. Extra days can be purchased and added to the beginning or end of your original hunt based on availability.
Whitetail Deer Hunts – Archery DIY
We have several properties set aside for these limited number of DIY hunts. These are 6 day / 7 night hunts with meals and lodging, hunters will arrive the day before their hunt. On the day before we will go over the property, trail cam pics and help you with any other questions you have about these properties. You then can go scout and hang stands or put up blinds in preparation for your next days hunt. All stands and blinds will be removed at the end of your last days hunt. Pre season scout trips are available if one of these hunts is booked to get more familiarized with your properties. Extra days can be purchased and added to the beginning or end of your original hunt based on availability.
Turkey Hunts
Our turkey hunts are 3 days / 3 nights with guided and unguided options available. Hunters have full access to our lodge and are on their own for meals. We will go over the properties and show you roost areas, strutting areas and anything else needed for our unguided hunts. Archery season starts in early April and runs till the end of May. Firearms season opens mid April – the end of May. Our area of Kansas has a 1 bird limit. Extra days can be purchased and added to the beginning or end of your original hunt based on availability.
Predator Hunts
Our predator hunts are guided or semi guided 2 day / 3 night or 3 day / 4 night hunts with lodging. Hunters have full access to our lodge and are on their own for meals. Extra days can be purchased and added to the beginning or end of your original hunt based on availability.
